About Us
Kosei Gakuen Junior & Senior High School is an all-boys school located in Suginami-ku, Tokyo, founded in 1954 by Rev. Nikkyo Niwano. In keeping with the school’s motto and guiding principle of “Practice and Study,” each student takes center stage, building diverse experiences and academic pursuits. To nurture students who will continue to thrive in the future, Kosei Gakuen conducts educational activities with the following tenets.

Honorary Principal Nikkyo Niwano established Kosei Gakuen in 1954 with a founding spirit of “knowing one’s own worth,” “showing gratitude,” and “expressing compassion.” Our school aspires to cultivate emotionally rich individuals with sound minds, healthy bodies, and well-rounded personalities, avoiding overemphasis on academic achievements as the sole marker of success.
